Equipment Overview
This scanning UV line printer is an industrial-grade high-precision digital printing device, featuring Ricoh G5/G6 printheads. It is specifically designed for large-scale, high-speed, and highly stable printing on flat surfaces and small curved surfaces. The equipment measures 2500mm (length) ×2450mm (width) ×1400mm (height), and is suitable for UV curing printing on various hard and flexible materials, such as glass, acrylic, metal plates, PVC, wood boards, leather, etc.
1. Motion control
System X-axis (lateral scanning) : Driven by high-precision linear motor, with a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm.
Y-axis (feeding direction) : Servo motor + precision lead screw/belt drive, supporting automatic feeding.
Z-axis (Height adjustment) : Electric lifting, suitable for materials of different thicknesses (3mm to 100mm).
2. UV curing system
LED UV lamp: 395nm wavelength, power 80W – 120W/cm, instant curing, energy-saving and low heat generation.
Curing method: Curing is carried out simultaneously with printing. Secondary curing is optional to enhance adhesion.
3. Ink supply system
Large-capacity ink cans: 1000ml/2000ml ink bags, reducing ink change frequency.
Intelligent ink supply: Constant pressure ink supply + automatic exhaust to prevent ink cut-off or air bubbles.
Ink type: Hard UV ink (glass/metal), flexible UV ink (leather/soft film)
4. Assembly line conveying system
Automatic feeding: Drum/belt transmission, with a load capacity of up to 50kg/㎡.
Alignment system: Photoelectric sensor +CCD vision positioning to ensure precise printing position.
Discharge method: Automatic material collection or discharge on the assembly line, supporting online production.
Equipment advantages and features
1. Motion control
Ricoh G5/G6 printheads offer micron-level droplet control, achieving photo-quality printing.
Bidirectional scanning and printing + high-speed mode, the production efficiency is increased by 30% to 50% compared with traditional flatbed machines.
2. Stable and reliable industrial-grade design
All-metal frame, shock-resistant and deformable, suitable for 24/7 continuous production.
Closed nozzle protection, dust-proof and shock-proof, extends the service life of the nozzle.
3. Intelligent operation
10-inch industrial touch screen, supporting one-click control with RIP software (such as Photoprint, ONYX).
Automatic height detection to prevent nozzle collision.
Remote monitoring, supporting MES system integration, and achieving digital production management.
Maintenance and optimization suggestions
Daily maintenance: Self-check and automatic cleaning of the nozzle before startup to prevent blockage.
Environmental requirements: Temperature 20 to 30℃, humidity 30% to 70%, and minimize the impact of static electricity.
Consumable selection: Use original UV ink to avoid damage to the nozzle from inferior ink.
Regular calibration: Check the tension of the guide rails and belts every week to ensure printing accuracy.
Introduction to Machine Details
1. Ink display screen and alarm system
High-definition LCD screen: Real-time display of 6-color ink levels (CMYK + white + varnish) in percentage and milliliters.
Smart warning functions:
Low ink alerts (yellow warning at ≤15%, red alarm at ≤5%).
Ink type recognition (prevents incorrect refilling).
Single-color ink usage statistics (calculates consumption cost per hour).
Touch operation: Allows switching between ink info pages or entering refill mode directly on the screen.
2. Ink Cartridge System (150ml)
Quick-release design:Patented latch mechanism enables replacement in 3 seconds.Foolproof design with physical key slots for different colors.
3. Dual Negative Pressure Ink Delivery System
The dual negative pressure ink supply system is a core subsystem of high-end UV printers. It works in coordination through two independently controlled negative pressure devices to ensure stable ink supply to the nozzles during high-speed printing, avoiding problems such as ink cut-off, ink dripping or air bubbles. The following are its technical details and working principle.
4. Receiving area
Transport the printed products out of the conveyor belt, saving labor and making the operation convenient
5. Operation keys
When adjusting parameters such as the height of the nozzle, the intensity of the UV lamp, and the printing speed quickly and precisely, the step-by-step adjustment of the keys (such as the ↑/↓ keys) is more accurate than the sliding of the touch screen.
Physical emergency stop button: One click to cut off power or pause printing (the large red button), with a response speed far exceeding that of touchscreen operation, avoiding damage to equipment or materials.
