Region: France

Client Type: Beauty Brand / Cosmetic Product Manufacturer

Product: Serum Bottles, Skincare Bottles, Lotion Bottles and Cosmetic Containers

Printing Requirements:

Fine-detail graphics, high-opacity white ink, vivid color reproduction,

selective varnish, flexible design changes and short-run production.

Challenges:

The French customer develops premium beauty and skincare products across multiple collections. Each product line requires a distinctive packaging design while maintaining consistent brand quality and a refined visual identity.

The customer needed to reproduce fine logos, small text, delicate floral graphics, gradients and high-quality color details directly on cosmetic bottles with different shapes and surface characteristics.

For transparent and colored containers, white ink opacity was particularly important to maintain color density and graphic visibility. Selected designs also required selective varnish to highlight logos and decorative elements and create a more premium visual and tactile finish.

At the same time, frequent product launches and different packaging designs created a need for greater production flexibility. Traditional decoration processes were less efficient for sampling, short runs, multiple SKUs and limited-edition collections.

The customer therefore needed a digital solution that could combine premium print quality, flexible production and high-end decorative effects.

Solution:

Suntech provided a UV direct-to-object printing solution optimized for cosmetic packaging, allowing digital artwork to be printed directly onto compatible cosmetic bottles and containers.

The printing workflow combines CMYK full color, high-opacity white ink and varnish. White ink provides a controlled underbase for transparent or colored substrates, helping maintain vivid color reproduction. CMYK delivers fine graphics, gradients and branding details, while selective varnish can highlight specific areas such as logos, patterns and decorative elements.

Optimized print parameters, ink control and UV curing help maintain consistent detail and decorative quality across compatible glass, plastic and coated cosmetic packaging surfaces.

Because the artwork is managed digitally, the customer can switch between different product designs without traditional plate-making for each artwork, making the workflow particularly suitable for new-product sampling, multiple SKUs, short production runs and limited-edition collections.

Results:

The customer achieved vivid color, strong white opacity, fine-detail reproduction and selective varnish effects across multiple cosmetic packaging designs.

Fine branding elements and decorative graphics remained clear, while the combination of white, color and varnish created the premium appearance required for the customer’s beauty and skincare collections.

The digital workflow also made it easier to move from sampling to short-run production and switch between different designs, giving the customer greater flexibility when developing new products and seasonal collections.

The solution expanded the customer’s capabilities for premium customized packaging, product launches, multiple-SKU production and limited-edition beauty collections.
